Duration : Day Tour (8:30 am to 3 pm) Our driver pick up you at 8:30am from your Hotel and Drive you to Chandni Chok. Your tour start from Chandni Chok 9 am by Rickshaw.

History of Delhi :- The Capital of Delhi has a big history of several empires .According Indian History, “Delhi” Eleven cities created by different Empires. First time Delhi became a Capital around 3100 BC Mahabharta time. Mahabharta is famous for his great war. During that time five brothers (Pandava) built a beautiful city call Indraprastha. They way Delhi have many name every empires give different name like Lal Kot ,Siri,Firozabad, and 1641 AD Shahjahanabad. Now this name call Old Delhi. In 12 century Delhi had been the seat of Islamic and British rulers until India’s independence in 1947. That time till to now Delhi divide in two part old Delhi and new Delhi. And Delhi was declared to be known as capital of India.

Old Delhi – Shahjahnabad :-THE MOGHUL EMPIRE Start with Babur on 1526 AD. and Humayun son of Babur and his son Akbar was became one of the greatest Mughal emperors. He did lots of good work in Agra. Akbar was a Great architect. And after Akber his grandson Shah Jahan built the extraordinary building Taj Mahal which he provides for her tomb. and Shah Jahan also created a city name Shahjahnabad in 1641 AD and it was the 10th city. Later people start speak Old Delhi. Shah Jahan built several important mosques in Delhi, Agra,Ajmer and Lahore The Jama Masjid and Red fort in Delhi built by Shah Jahan. Shahjahnabad city are about 6 km2 was covered by big walls and 14 gates to protect from his enemy to enter in city and this city was built on river Yamuna. So first we will go to chandi chowk road here you can see very very busy road and Grandest market of Delhi and feel the real test of Indian street food. Chandni Chowk is the oldest and busiest markets in Delhi. The historically important old city is between Red Fort and Fatehpuri Masjid. In side Chandni Chowk area many many narrow galis (narrow street or lines).

Jama Masjid : This largest mosque in India built by Shah Jahan in 1650 AD and completed in 1656 AD. And 6,000 workers, continue work over a period of six years.The courtyard of the mosque can hold up to twenty-five thousand worshipers.

Gauri Shankar Mandir (Temple ) built by a Maratha general Appa Gandgadhar in 1761.

Central Baptist Church is located on the main chandni chowk Road, just opposite Gurdwara Sisganj and before the Fountain Chowk. One of the oldest church in Delhi and it is a good example of European architecture of that time. The southern side entrance of the church has a large deep colonnaded porch supported on thick heavy circular columns. Likewise the other two sides have double height verandahs with semi-circular arched openings.

Fatehpuri Masjid was built in 1650 by Fatehpuri Begum. The mosque is built using red sands tone and has a fluted dome with mahapadma and kalashon the top. Flanked by minarets, the mosque has a traditional design with the prayer hall having seven-arched openings. The mosque has single and double-stored apartments on the sides.

1300(1:00pm) Driver will pick up you from Ajmeri gate and drive you to Restaurant for Launch.

1430(2:30pm) drive to your hotel or transfer to Airport for your next program. Tour End 3:00pm.
